Currently, garments which claim protection against UV radiation have to comply with the requirements out of the PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425. Compliancy with this regulation means that, besides adding a CE mark, you will need to compose a technical file, meet design requirements and more.
During this workshop, we will take you through the steps of applying the requirements for UV protective clothing. After completing this workshop successfully, you will be able to conduct the legal requirements by yourself. You will receive a Modint Academy Certificate.
The expectation is, that during the first half of 2020, the European commission will decide if and how above regulations will change. This will also be addressed in the workshop.
This workshop will be in English.
Location: Modint, Zeist
The session will have a maximum of 12 participants. In case the workshop is full, we do have the possibility to offer a second workshop on February 7th 2020.
